About the Event

Hosted at The Meadows in the heart of Edinburgh, the Blast 5K Series takes place on a flat, traffic-free course that is officially measured and licensed, making it ideal for runners targeting a PB or completing their first organised 5K.

The event welcomes everyone aged 11 and over, from beginners through to experienced club runners. Races are chip timed, with results submitted to Run Britain Rankings and Scottish Athletics, while prizes are awarded across a range of age categories for eligible entrants. Community is at the heart of Blast Running, with participants also given the opportunity to support local charities through optional donations.
