The York MoRun is a multi‑distance run set at York Racecourse that forms part of the MoRunning series by Fix Events. It brings together runners of all abilities for a friendly and inclusive event supporting Movember and men’s health initiatives, with distances from a 1.5K Mini MoRun up to a Half Marathon.

Race Description

The York MoRun features multiple race distances around the York Racecourse area, incorporating mainly flat paths with some undulating sections and mixed terrain including trail and tarmac. Participants can enter the 1.5K Mini MoRun, 5K, 10K or step up to the Half Marathon. The 5K consists of one lap, the 10K two laps, and the Half Marathon includes an initial out‑and‑back section before four full laps of the main route. Dogs on short leads are welcome, and off‑road running buggies are permitted, though the course is not suitable for wheelchair users.

The event promotes a fun, community‑focused atmosphere with prizes for best dressed, fastest MoBro, MoSista, and other spot awards, encouraging runners to enjoy the experience whether running for time, charity or fun.
