The Solihull Half Marathon, 5K & Junior Race 2026 is a popular summer road-running festival in Solihull, West Midlands. Organised by RunThrough Events, it supports Acorns Children’s Hospice. The event combines closed-road racing, family-friendly distances, and a lively event village, designed to appeal to competitive runners, fun runners, and juniors alike.

Race Description

• The Half Marathon route is undulating: starting and finishing in Malvern Park, with parts of the route through Knowle, Barston, Eastcote, and Widney Manor. The course mixes town centre roads and countryside sections, offering both challenge and good PB potential.

• The 5K follows the start/finish section of the Half Marathon with an earlier turnaround, making it more accessible while benefiting from the same closed-road environment.

• The Junior Race offers younger runners a chance to take part, usually on a shorter, flatter course, ensuring family friendly participation.
