Ramp It Up at Cheshire Oaks returns for 2026 with one of the most unique 5K events in the North West. Taking place before the shopping centre opens, participants will run or walk through the iconic Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet, including the rarely used multi-storey car park ramps and shopping areas themselves, all while raising money for the Hospice of the Good Shepherd.
Designed to be fun, inclusive, and accessible for all abilities, the event combines fitness, community spirit, and a completely different race-day atmosphere from your standard road run.
About the Event
Starting at 8:00 AM on Sunday morning, participants will take on a fully marshalled 5K route winding through Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet. The course includes climbs and descents through the closed multi-storey car parks, along pedestrian walkways, and around the outlet itself, creating a memorable urban-style running and walking experience.
Whether you’re chasing a personal best, looking for a relaxed social walk, or simply wanting to support a great local cause, the event welcomes runners, walkers, families, and even dogs.
All proceeds from the event go directly towards patient care at the Hospice of the Good Shepherd, supporting specialist palliative and end-of-life care services across the local community.
