The Crediton Crunch 10K returns for 2026 with its signature blend of scenic countryside, challenging trails and a fantastic community atmosphere. Organised by the Crediton Running Network, this popular multi-terrain race is approximately 90% off-road and forms part of the INSTEP Devon Race Series, attracting runners from across the South West.
About the Event
Starting and finishing at Queen Elizabeth School, Barnfield Site, the Crediton Crunch takes runners across a varied 10K route featuring public footpaths, grassland, private farmland, riverside trails and quiet country lanes. Along the way, participants will pass through picturesque Devon countryside, cross the River Yeo, and tackle the infamous Breakheart Hill before returning to the finish.
The route is fully marked with kilometre markers and supported by marshals throughout, creating a welcoming experience for both seasoned trail runners and those looking to try a multi-terrain event for the first time. Fancy dress is encouraged, adding to the fun community atmosphere, with the Hannah Bennett Memorial Trophy awarded for the best costume.

- UK Athletics members: £16
- Non-members: £18
- This is a cupless event, so runners should bring their own reusable bottle or cup.
- Trail shoes are recommended as sections of the course may be muddy or slippery.
- Headphones are not permitted during the race under UK Athletics rules.
- Free parking at Race HQ is limited, with additional public car parks available nearby.
