Race Description

The course starts and finishes in the heart of Newtown town centre, looping along closed roads and pathways beside the River Severn. The route offers a very fast start and finish and a smooth, picturesque midsection. With kilometres marked and marshalled throughout, the environment is safe and spectator-friendly.

• Cut-off Time: 1 hour and 30 minutes (10:30 AM); roads reopen according to pace for safety. Participants falling behind may be asked to withdraw.

• Age Requirement: Participants must be aged 15 or over.

• Parking: Free parking available from 08:00 to 13:00 at Back Lane Car Park (404 bays). 

• Spectator & Resident Notes: Residents advised to move vehicles prior to road closure at 08:15 AM. Spectators encouraged to support from pavements, particularly alongside the river section, obeying marshal directions.
