The Newcastle MoRun is a multi‑distance running event organised by Fix Events as part of the MoRunning series, bringing runners of all abilities together for a friendly and inclusive event at Exhibition Park, Town Moor. The event supports Movember and men’s health awareness, and offers a choice of distances from a Mini MoRun to a half marathon.

Race Description

The Newcastle MoRun takes place around Exhibition Park on a mainly flat course using paths and tarmac running surfaces. Distances include a 1.5K Mini MoRun, 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon, making the event suitable for runners, joggers and walkers of all levels. The 5K route is one lap, the 10K is two laps, and the half marathon includes an initial loop of approximately 1.1 km followed by four full laps of the main course.

The atmosphere is relaxed and community‑focused, encouraging runners to take part for personal achievement, fitness goals, or to support Movember’s work on men’s health. Costumes, fancy dress and fun participation are actively encouraged, with spot prizes for best dressed and fastest MoRunners.

Course & Distances

The course is dog‑friendly and suitable for running with a buggy, but some sections may be uneven. Wheelchair users are not recommended due to surface conditions.

• Registration: Opens from 08:00 on race day and closes roughly 10 minutes before each race start; arrive early to collect your race pack with number and chip.
