Race Description
This unique 10K is run entirely on the flat, smooth airfield surface at RAF Shawbury, making it an excellent choice for personal best attempts as well as a friendly early-season target. It’s suitable for beginners through to elite runners, and also includes a 1 km fun run for children on the day. A race briefing and warm-up take place before the main start.

Because RAF Shawbury is an active military base, all participants aged 16+ must bring valid photo ID (e.g., passport or driving licence) to gain entry.

There is ample parking, and marshals direct vehicles; participants should not use the RAF main gate for entry.
