How do I track my run?
You can use any running app or GPS device to track your run. You do not need to use Strava.
What counts as valid proof of completion?
We need clear proof that:
You completed at least 10.00km
The run was completed during the event weekend
The date and distance are visible
It was one continuous run
Proof can be a screenshot from your running app or GPS watch, or a public activity link.
Do treadmill runs count?
Treadmill runs are accepted only if the distance and date are clearly visible in the submitted proof.
How do I submit my run?
After completing your run, you’ll be directed to submit proof via the attendee page. This will be linked to you after checkout and in your confirmation email.
When will medals be posted?
Medals will be posted after the event weekend, once runs have been checked. Dispatch begins from the Tuesday following the event.
What if I can’t complete my run during the weekend?
Runs completed outside the official event window are not eligible for a finisher medal.
Can I transfer my entry to someone else?
Entries are non-transferable.
Are refunds available?
As this event includes custom medal production, entries are non-refundable once ticket sales close.
Why does JoinTheRun run paid events if it’s free to use?
JoinTheRun will always be free to use for runners and organisers. Entry fees for this event are used solely to cover event costs such as medals, postage, platform fees and insurance, and to support the ongoing JoinTheRun project.
