Race Description
The Alderley Edge 10K takes place on a fully closed road course along the Melrose Way section of the A34 bypass, set against the peaceful backdrop of the Cheshire countryside. The route is smooth and well-measured, offering a flat, fast layout suitable for runners aiming for strong times or racing in a competitive field. Entertainment along the course creates an upbeat atmosphere, encouraging runners to keep pushing toward the finish.

Minimum age: Runners must be 15 years or older on race day to enter.

Prizes are awarded to the Top 3 male and female finishers, as well as veteran age category winners in five-year increments (from V35 upwards), with awards sent by post if not collected on the day.

Entrants have options to transfer their place to another runner or switch to a virtual version of the race if unable to attend in person (subject to event terms).
