  from Longcraigs Scout Hall in South Queensferry\, the Dalmeny Halloween Tr
 ail Half offers a challenging yet accessible route suitable for both experi
 enced trail runners and those tackling their first off-road half marathon. 
 The course features less than 1\,000 feet of elevation\, providing enough c
 limbing to keep things interesting without becoming overly technical.\nRunn
 ers will enjoy a varied mix of wooded trails\, open countryside\, riverside
  paths and estate tracks\, all while taking in spectacular views around Dal
 meny Estate. The welcoming atmosphere\, excellent organisation and Hallowee
 n theme have helped make this one of Scotland's most popular autumn trail r
 aces.\nAn optional £1 donation from every entry supports the South Queensf
 erry RNLI\, with participants able to contribute additional fundraising if
