DESCRIPTION:A challenging trail running event through parts of the Surrey H
 ills following sections of the historic Pilgrims’ Way and North Downs Way
 \, featuring beautiful rural scenery\, varied terrain and a genuine sense o
 f adventure. Runners can choose between a full marathon and a half marathon
 \, both organised with plenty of support\, drinks stations\, friendly marsh
 als and a festive event village. All net proceeds are donated to local char

  experience following historic routes through scenic rural Surrey — inclu
 ding hills\, woodland paths and open downs. The course incorporates section
 s of the Pilgrims’ Way & North Downs Way and passes landmarks such as his
 toric churches\, vineyards and woodland ponds. The terrain is varied and ch
 allenging\, with frequent water/refreshment stations and well-marshalled se
 ctions. Both distances are highly rated by participants for atmosphere and
