DESCRIPTION:The 24 Hours South – The Offa’s Dyke ULTRA is a unique time
 d ultra-endurance challenge along the Offa’s Dyke National Trail in North
  Wales. Participants have 24 hours to see how far south they can travel fro
 m the start point\, with the furthest distance covered determining winners 
 in both SOLO and TEAM categories. The route runs along one of Britain’s m
 ost iconic National Trails and blends strategy\, navigation\, pace manageme

 Personal Fitness Ltd.\n\n\nRace Description\nParticipants set off from the 
 North Wales coast at Prestatyn and proceed southbound along the Offa’s Dy
 ke National Trail\, with the goal to reach the furthest possible point alon
 g the route before the 24-hour clock stops. Both solo runners and teams (2
 –4 members) can take part. While there is no fixed finish point\, runners
  are timed and tracked with GPS\, and those who cover the greatest distance
  within the 24-hour window are declared winners. Support checkpoints with f
 ood\, drink and drop-bag access are spaced along the route to aid rest and 
 refuelling. Teams can change over at any time\, allowing multiple runners o
 n the trail at once\, provided each member covers part of the course.\nWhat

  rest areas.\n\n\nGPS tracking and chip timing for accurate distance measur
 ement.\n\n\nMedal and finishers’ certificate for all completing participa

 val shelter\, water (min 1.5 L)\, map\, compass\, phone\, whistle\, head to
 rch and spare layers.\n\n\nCheckpoints: Several staffed points along the wa
 y provide food\, drinks and rest options (e.g.\, Llandegla\, Trevor Rocks\,
  Trefonen\, Buttington Bridge\, Forden).\n\n\nPositioning: The event tracks
  progress along the historic Offa’s Dyke path — a scenic but demanding 
 route with varied terrain and elevation gained over long distances.
